Worlds to Build

I started Wonderfilled to make the world more wonder-filled — to help people see the magic of life, and to help fellow visionaries ship theirs. That’s the whole company in a sentence.

We’re the small studio behind worlds you didn’t realize shared a soul. The truth: mostly just me, with a network of friends, scholars, and collaborators who show up when the work is right.

From AAA console titles to themed entertainment, from Angry Birds to Evermore Park, from academic research to operatic staging — the pedigree spans every platform where story lives. The original IPs — GiantLands, Tablet of Destinies, Emperor of the Cherokee — are the long game.

We work the frontier where ancient story meets emergent technology. Wargames are our roots. We hex everything.

Stephen Erin Dinehart IV

Founder · Wonderfilled, Inc.

Erin is a narrative designer, author, academic, and founder of Wonderfilled, Inc. He coined the term “Narrative Designer” in 2006 — establishing a role and methodology now practiced at every major studio in the industry.

His work spans AAA game development, themed entertainment (THEA Award winner), academic research, and original IP creation. He has lectured at Harvard Business School and presented at TEDxTransmedia Geneva, RiseUp Cairo, and the Bristol VR Lab.

The original IPs — GiantLands, Tablet of Destinies, Emperor of the Cherokee — are a 20-year vision for American and world mythology rendered through interactive and narrative media.

Doctrine

The Frontier Principle.

The studios of the future are also the guardians of myth. The most durable IPs aren’t products — they’re living mythologies, with internal logic, sacred geography, and the kind of emotional truth that survives format changes.

We use AI and synthetic media as an extension of human craft, not a replacement for it. We design for the age of infinite narrative, where audiences inhabit your world rather than consume it.

It also means having the courage to build slow. We have hex paper and a plan.
